However, if his pc is beefy enough, have him look at ark server manager. It will allow him to host the game on his pc, then you two can join that session. There will be no tether distance. Oct 28, 2023 · Just most people today wouldn't notice it because most people's PCs are more than able to handle ARK SE with Tether Distance set to say 99 without too many issues. The Host's Computer has to keep track of everything the "OTHER" Players are encountering rather than those objects going into a deep sleep like they do on normal singleplayer.
