The Burston Prime is one of the best guns in the game. It's well rounded. If you can get past the burst fire feature. It's not the most suitable for long range play. Adding heavy caliber kinda kills the accuracy. The gun becomes more of a short range to mid range weapon with heavy caliber.Burston Prime is a perfectly fine rifle as is. It kills things very well and it doesn't really drop off anywhere. It even has a Syndicate proc. There's literally no good reason to buff the Burston Prime other than "Well all these other crappy weapons got buffed, so now these good weapons should be buffed to be better than the crappy ones again."The Burston Prime is a straight upgrade in virtually every category (aesthetics are subjective): - twice the fire rate (shorter time between bursts) - better damage across all three physical damage types (11/11/15 vs. 10/10/10) - more status chance (15% vs. 10%)
