It's also great to see interesting melee builds - I enjoyed playing melee Cragheart in GH1, but the build was super dependent on an item only some campaigns would even find. It got frustrating in later campaigns when I was interested in doing that sort of build again and just couldn't because they didn't have the item.You can still build toward an obstacle-based Cragheart. For one thing, many/most scenarios already contain single-hex obstacles, which the Cragheart uses to power its abilities. For two, there are higher levels you can sacrifice that don't really help toward the obstacle build much. Levels 6 and 7 can be used to take early obstacle cards.

Growth is a trap, move 4 and low initiative is what cragheart lacks. I play on the hardest difficulty and Explosive Punch is just so much better. Sentient Growth looks good, but does too little on higher difficulty. Just my opinion. Also, I always read that people don't like long rests and see them as losing a turn.
