Those of you getting 45 - 50mpg please share the secret. I have a '98 1100c2 Shadow Ace that 'was' getting 40mpg max. I got this when I bought it with dirty carbs, straight pipes, stock air filter and stock carb jets. 2001 Shadow Sabre 1100 Carb Issue. I just picked up a Sabre with 8900 miles. Like new motorcycle. Didn't run due to bad gas, carbs and tank dirty. Bike has a K&N filter and after market pipes. I removed carbs and tank for cleaning. Noticed it has a non-stock needle, thus assume it was jetting ect for the pipe/filter. Bike runs great once warm.
