May 26, 2020 · Same thing only one injector. I tried the ecm off the unit that’s not starting and it started the running ranger just fine. I swapped crank position sensors same resaults. I tested continuity from the injector wires to the ecm plug and that’s good. Jan 30, 2021 · Problem solved! It turns out that the keyswitch was bad! It was losing the C-D continuity while in the start position. This means that the ECM was losing power while cranking even though the Spark Module was still receiving B+. A quick diagnosis clue was that with the headlight switch ON, the headlights were going off while cranking.
