Apr 23, 2023 · A short coaxial patch cable ran from the wall jack where my Xfinity feed is located to my former Zoom 5341 cable modem. The cable is in fine condition in a furnished area of the house, and never caused any problems, so I re-used it to connect the new Motorola MB7240 cable modem I purchased when Xfinity forced me to upgrade my equipment. Internet outage. My internet is offline. The xfinity app shows the following message: Your home internet is offline due to an outage being fixed in your area. I reported the outage and received back a text message saying there is no outage. But, I still don't have internet service and the app continues to give the outage being fixed message above.
