Btw, mage is really bad f3-f7. In f7, mages are only good if you have a Hyperion and 3/4 storm/full storm + Legendary Sheep. But yes, I would get blue whale for tankiness, get a good sword for healing. But I don't recommend mage for f4-f7. I do have experience so don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.
Other Useful Tools []. Power Orbs/Healing Wands - Power Orbs and Healing Wands can regenerate health, and if properly used, can regenerate more Health than enemies remove. Power Orbs should be used for a tank who has a large amount of Health, while Healing Wands should be used with a build with a lot of Defense (due to Healing Wands's healing being flat values).

Spoiler: Mage Setup. I think Hellcastle and Furyeboy made a pretty good guide on a setup for f6. My only recommendation is to use at least an Ornate Zombie Sword for healing and Yeti Sword if a Midas Staff is too expensive. Since you're Catacombs level is 19, you should also be using Shadow Goggles instead of Wither Goggles.Use a Legendary sheep lv 50+ (5 starred) and make sure your shadow goggles are also 5 starred. It is important to have cata 15+ before attempting F7. In conclusion, mage is a powerful class in Ironman and can be a lot easier to play with the right gear and mod setup.

Mage is useless in F7 without Hyperion. The whole point of mage is to clear rooms fast, and spirit sceptre Nons will clear a room 10x slower than a hype mage. They also do 10x less average damage. Btw I’m pretty sure a 1bil setup will do much better than a 150m setup in crimson isles. Lol it’s not even close
