I did have the stabilitrak issue and my body control module had to be replaced and after that truck so far been great. I have close to 2k miles on it and drive it 70 miles a day to work.

The 2nd day after I bought it took it on long trip found it had vibration problems. After taking it to the dealership for tire balance twice replaced front wheel bearing then transmission flush. Ya I think people confuse the issues that are plaguing the 8 speed transmissions with the 6 speed that has been very reliable for 99% of us. 2020 Canyon CCLB 2.8L Duramax. SLT Nav/bose, skids. If you have to have the Colorado/Canyon and don't want the 8 speed, then your choice is to find a gently used 2015 or 2016 with the 6 speed, or get a newer diesel with the 6 speed. If you get a 2015 or 2016 with the V6, make sure it has the latest transmission tuning TSB applied.

After driving for around 3 weeks I began feeling the dreaded transmission vibration that everyone talks about with the 8 speed.I'm getting a shudder/stutter when accelerating above 45mph. When I give it throttle above 45mph and it down shifts and puts the RPMs at 2,000, the shudder/stutter starts until 2,500 RPMs and then goes away.
