I bought some but haven't used it yet. Polyurethane glue was suggested as the best option. Titebond was mentioned and that is what I have always used for wood gluing. Long ago, my dad did some tests on Titebond. Pieces of wood were glued together to make about 5 test samples. Quality, straight-grained wood looks sharp and is easy to touch up if the forend is nicked or dinged. SPECS: Walnut, straight grain, no figure. Accepts original hardware. Matches factory length of pull. Browning A-5 forend fits 12 gauge, 5-shot. Remington 11 forend is 12 gauge only; drilled for the detent & spring. Do not come pre drilled.Can't go back in time and tighten magazine cap for previous owners, only trying to repair the damage already done.
