Not interested in swapping trans to nv4500. For what the truck is used for I'm not terribly worried about it breaking and if it does ill put another 3500 in it or rebuild mine. You could probably trade off the LS1 for an iron 6.0L too, which would work better for the swap. The truck accessories, intake and exhaust manifolds are an easier swap into a truck. The 4l80e bone stock will handle any abuse a stock 6.0 can throw at it. If not then L96 + 6Lxx tranny, the L96 and 6l90 will probably take more work to integrate, so it'll be more expensive. The 6l90 (or 80) would just be awesome in a gmt400. As long as they're tuned well they're supposed to be stout. May 29, 2020. #9.
