After using them as steps for a while they deformed the car body sheet metal they are mounted to in such a way that the rails started to sag a little bit. Also they got pretty rusty after only 2 years.

When the engine first comes on, it will run in series hybrid mode where it idles around 1500 rpm and loads the engine up with the generator to preheat the catalytic converter. The GC owner's manual shows both the location for the HOLD button to the left of the 4WD LOW button under the Hold 'N Go and an entry for the HOLD indicator light in the dashboard. The vehicle won't start if the battery is under -22f/-30c. that is an important distinction since the battery in inside the vehicle, well insulated, etc. It takes a prolonged amount of time sitting out in very cold weather to fully cold soak the vehicle and get the battery internals below -22f. The last thing I would want is a warranty claim to be challenged because they are a being a pain about if the work was done correctly.

They first told me that it needed a software update, which obviously did not fix the problem. Now, the transmission is being replaced.

I bought my 2022 Trailhawk 4xe in Feb and the only issues I’ve had are the radio rebooting itself periodically (every couple of weeks while driving) and my key fobs won’t activate the memory profiles.
