Mechanical Advice. I have a 2001 Honda Civic which has been flashing a "maintenance required" light for about 10 seconds when I fire up the car. this has been happening for about 8-12 months. Last week, I went for an oil change and as of today, the maintenance required light just remains lit on the dash. Nothing sounds or seems wrong with the car.
