GM actually puts some type of thread locker on them from the factory. The GM torque spec is 132 in lb in three steps. (27, 106, 132) That is just about the same as 11 ft lbs. By the way for that light of a torque I would always use either an inch lb torque wrench or one that goes not much higher than 50 ft lbs total.
