1989 Honda Fourtrax battery not charging. Ok guys I got a 89 fourtrax 300 and it kills batteries. It runs great when I get it going using the charger/starter, but is will not recharge the battery. It also easily runs with out the cahrger starter connected. I tested the voltage while running and its around 10V not near the recommended 13-15V.
