I had a dealer change the initial break in oil at 1000 and adjust the valves at the same time and then I changed the oil again at 5000 The oil was what one would expect from dirty oil pretty black I did find a few small shavings of metal on the drain plug which had me concerned but have been told it is normal by a dealer to find a few traces of shavings from break in no way to get them all out ...
