Mine was starting to leak, and liquid was living in the valley of the engine. Noticed yesterday that the jeep was running really hot, hot enough actually to make the idiot chime tell me to look at the gauges. When I started actually paying close attention to it the needle was staying at the third little hash mark on the gauge (so technical right). This is a common problem when doing any kind of cooling system work on a jeep. The JK is well known for being difficult to get all the air out of the system. Often times taking multiple attempts. To start with I would open the radiator cap and make sure it is full, right up to the top. Then keep the overflow bottle level at least to the min line.With that said the JKs do run a but hot (210-226) in my case depending on ambient and load. @Youssefsaafan One other thing you may want to consider is if you are running the most up to date software. So new thermostat, new air temp sensor, new ECT sensor, new Mopar OAT coolant, and... fan still running like crazy during normal driving, and the dash temp gauge keeps climbing to near the 3/4 position. In fact, I had to have the heater air on to keep the needle at a reasonably mid-range position, and it is blowing super-hot air.

Best advise is to make sure you have the least amount of stuff you can blocking the grill. sink the winch down in frame, remove grill inserts etc.

On hot days (temps in 90's plus), my Jeep would overheat while driving regardless of speed. Higher speeds didn't help cool it off. In older vehicles that had questionable cooling fans, you could just drive 50-60 and the airflow through radiator was enough to keep your engine happy. Not so in the JK.
