I'm joining an ongoing PF2 campaign as an 8th level Polymath (not intending to be a frontline!) Bard. Which means I get a full suite of 1/2/3/4 level Occult Spells. The only problem is, I have no idea what to pick! Pf2 is my fave system in 35 years of rpg. But ludicrous amount of options is overwhelming. I'd grab Pathbuilder 2 android, pc, app ASAP and use that for building your hero. Bard seems to pretty much fit the bill. Cha prime stat, can cast illusions. Doesn't hurt it's also considered an S tier class, with decent hp, decent ac, decent weapons ...
