Encountered a bug in a creative infinite game, at turn 193 it kept reseting to a start of the game, everytime I press ok it just does it again and again. It also doesn't let me press anything else while this happens.

Re injected the save following a guide on gba VC injection which was the same guide that taught me to export the save. Injected the save and it said successful. Loaded up my game now it has no save file. I then tried to re inject the old save file which I backed up as recommended Same outcome. I just copy and paste the Radical Red GBA file with another name before restarting. Should be easy if you are on PC like me. Don't think it's as reliable but you can just quick save through the emulator then start a new game on a different quick save. Then you will have 2 games that you can switch between.I'm pretty sure if you name the .CIA identically, and make sure the ID or hash or whatever is the same, installing the updated .CIA will just overwrite the game without touching the save. Doing so will create a new Game Cleared save file that also shows the stars you've collected in that save file.
