It first happened a few weeks ago, I took it to be checked and they said it was the alternator. I had the alternator and battery replaced. It was fine for a couple weeks and then when I went to start it today it wouldn't start.An alternate method that could provide a clue is to turn the ignition switch to "run", wait a couple of seconds, turn it off, then turn it to "run" again, wait another couple of seconds, then crank the engine. That will cause the pump to run twice as long and build more fuel pressure.Fast forward to this week, and the intermittent start issue is back. Sometimes the truck starts on the first key turn, sometimes it starts on the 4th or 5th. Never cranks, just clicks once. Then this morning it just didn't start. Guessing it was fuel pump. Replaced pump cranks and wont start, replaced Cam, Crankshaft sensors and all new plugs. Tried starting fluid again with no luck. Had mechanic scanner hooked up to it and had no communication. I was able to turn the key 3 times to get codes on dash no code were present.
