Exotic glaive pattern drop rate.
We had loot drop problems with Astral Alignment for supposedly the same reason. Wellspring is a 6-player activity with a ton of adds and ability spam. I know that the pattern comes from activity completion and not the chest, so I’m wondering if the this is problem could be in-play here. Just speculating.
Tried another 20 odd runs with all three characters but still haven't got the Hunter one to drop yet. I think the exotic glaive will be given with the exotic quest on Mars board, not by dropping it. You get the other 2 from wellspring drops doe. You have to craft the exotic glaives. That's the same problem the exotic glaives have now too. The Hunter glaive also has a faster rate of fire than the others which can catch people by surprise sometimes. The Hunter one is actually really fun with Arc 3.0. They can drop from Wellspring on any character, the drop chance of the pattern is NOT tied to class.• The strange low rate of fire makes it extremely weak in PvP, and massively reduces the uptime of the exotic perk. • The low base mag and reload stats make using this weapon feel oddly sluggish, despite otherwise decent stats. • The exotic perk itself has weak AI, range, and duration. The increases drop rates. After one run, your drop rates have increased as much as they can per week. The argument given for this was to not leave single character players too far behind looking for the exotic. You still only have 1/3 as many shots at getting the raid exotic, but at least your rates will be the same.

RNG means you could get 5 exotics in a row or run 30+ without one, and on an infinite timescale it all evens out. There was someone that did a bunch of Lost Sector runs and it seems that Legend lost sectors have a 25% chance while Master lost sectors have a 33.33% chance. If you stop you won't ever get it. Its rng.

Drop rate for barely used exotics shouldn't be so low when exclusively dropped from specific content. Needs to have drop rate roughly equal to 1/3 of the deepsight weapons ie you get exotic pattern around same time you would get the relevant legendary pattern.
