There are B billets that are gated to certain communities, yes. The equivalent is the MCRC board. It goes every year to screen officers for officer recruiter, recruiting CO, XO, and Ops-O. For the depot, OCS, and TBS, it's just volunteer. They are demanding billets, but officers volunteer for it with no issue.
