The concept of starting off with a cheap, shitty car and actually being able to build your funds, customize it extensively, and even turn a trashy car into a well-tuned sleeper. Things like iRacing and ACC simulate the same things as GT (crash physics, damage, traction control, ABS, fuel, tyre wear, pit strategies etc) but in much greater detail.
