Tricaru is definitely core to speed dungeon teams and arguably the only viable DB12 team. My advice would be to build ONE Icaru 6*ed and 2Aed. Try to rune him up (using RTA rune management is convenient) and hit the def mark. If you can rune up one, move those runes off and see if you can build a second.

give the tricaru some Determination runes. If you use Kunite, just give him enough determination runes and when your tricaru works give him fight runes so you do much more damage. If you use Kunite, give him enough speed so he attacks first and doesn't mess up your tricaru system. Get better runes

You cannot roll speed as a substat on a slot 2 speed rune, nor could you roll def% substat on a 2/4/6 with def% main stat. this is actually mindblowing No. You just read it wrong. When it says "every effect type can be found on all Runes as a secondary property", it means that for example speed is a possible substat on rune slots 1-6.
