Everything is viable some weapons just happen to have too much of a boost in power. Flame executioner's greataxe is awesome. Executioner greataxe is currently my favorite weapons for STR/FTH Builds and I use either flame strike flame art exe greataxe or golden land sacred exe greataxe. I'm mainly talking PvE here.
