My AAR original carbs were dated 992 and 993 1969, Sep, 2nd and 3rd week. If you don't believe me than call Holley and they and straighten it out. All Holley carbs regardless of Mopar, Ford, GM, aftermarket used 3 digit date codes from the 50's till 72 then they went to 4 digit.I am not familiar wiht the other number. The date code for assy line is a three digit date. The first digit is for the year, the second digit is for the month 1-9 = Jan-Sept and 0=Oct A=Nov B=Dec, the third digit is the week of the month. 5A3 would represent 1965 - Nov - third week.
