So the tricky thing with First Response is that it picks up such a low level of HCG (like 4 in clinical trials) that it’s basically impossible to say whether they’re indents or it’s picking up on attempts to implant etc that are so early they would normally go completely undetected.

I don’t (really) think it’s an indent line because in person the line is a very light pink color. BEFORE I USED THE TEST I looked at the line (shining my phone flash light through the back) to see the line and unused- the line is white/clear. But like I said, the line after I used it turned pink. I know these days it's hard to tell the difference between a vfl and indent. This might help - indents will always be skinny and no colour. BC will probably chew the quality but this line is as clear as they come.

I used FRER's for years when ttc and never got any kind of line when it was negative. If you were using a cheapo test then, yes, they have evap lines all the time. Go to target and buy up all the FRER's. Take a test tonight. Use a cup to collect your urine. If your urine is really diluted then don't waste the FRER. Good luck!!
