I also bought a separate 14.5" barrel conversion kit recently, but that barrel is tapered at the end.Virtus is heavier because of the barrel, has improved tighter lock-up on the handguards and a better stock trigger. The bolt is also shaped differently to reduce lugs from breaking off. For me, I'd prefer the legacy model because its 1lb lighter. Also, there was a time when Sig sold the MCX hybrids at lower cost.Bolts are not included.
