I had this on my engine but by the time the project was ready for water I could afford The blower shop 575sci replacement so I went that direction. I did start the engine with this blower, no odd sounds or issues that I could tell but being I cant tell you the hours I would refresh.

You can get the clutch plates online. That clutch drum and some of the associated parts are from a Ford FMX trans. Those are the clutch plates you'll need. There is no specific forward gear. The clutches lock up to give you forward. Those gears create reverse through the planetary when the band locks the drum down.
