I haven't been able to find any reason for it, but every few months I'll be at a drive through or ATM and the window acts up. Symptoms: I try to roll down the window and nothing happens, it doesn't seem like it's straining ...

The window was occasionally getting stuck in the fully open position and would not close. Here are the relevant pages from the factory service manual. There is a fuse box under the hood on the driver's side (with spare fuses in the lid) and another in the driver's side under dash. Both covers have legends on them describing the fuses.Try rolling all windows up then go to each individual door and hold the switch up for 5 seconds. So driver side door, hold switch up 5 second then passenger side door, hold switch up 5 seconds, etc until complete. Should reset and hopefully fix your issue. Reply.

I can stop the travel down but it won't close. I experienced other issues with opening/closing finally getting to this stage. Hold the button down for 3 seconds. Then lift the switch up, bringing the window to the top position. Hold it there for 3 seconds. Repeat this two more times and the window should be reset. *On 2015 and later, it is the same operation but only hold it down 2 seconds. If you hold it down longer, it will continue to be in non pinch mode.

Seems like there's not enough voltage going through the switch to the driver side window, The 18 V supply is 50% more than the design of the motor, so it's very likely that it would run a lot better. I think I heard a click too.
