Oct 12, 2011 · Vdara pros and cons. Just returned from Las Vegas for a convention. We chose the Vdara primarily because it doesn't have a casino and it is nonsmoking. It is a beautiful and comfortable hotel, and the rooms are large. It is quiet and has kitchen facilities. It is very nice to be able to have snacks, soft drinks, and breakfast foods in the room.

Actually the website says there is a washer/dryer in the Vdara suite; however, I stayed in this type of suite last week and we did not have a washer/dryer. Best to call and ask if you really need it.
