CSULB has a stronger program than CSUDH. CSULB has a larger department, and their accreditation with AACSB has been around longer than CSUDH (CSUDH just received theirs in 2020). People always say go to SJSU if you’re in tech/engineering because it’s in Silicon Valley, which means the potential job opportunities will be more abundant compared to SDSU. Public transportation, beaches, nightlife (gaslamp) are all better in SD. Outside of the dorms, housing may be cheaper if you go inward of east county. The campus life at SDSU will be better. San Diego in general is a much more fun city also than Long Beach. If you can afford either, I would go SDSU.
