Whining Noise was the CVT Transmission. The Transmission had to be replaced at 85K miles. Thank goodness Nissan has extended the transmission warranty on these models due to the obvious issues. I think they extended it 140K. I was able to have my transmission replaced on the warranty. They even gave me a loaner.
