Police say the accident happened in the town of Upton at 2:40pm near Exit 68. A tractor trailer and a car collided, causing the car to burst into flames and numerous other vehicle to collide. Authorities said a half dozen cars collided after the initial accident. Some of them flipped over. Hospital officials said some of the injuries are serious.
