Yes you need the survival skill that kets you see plants for the stones and sticks to light up. The skill "Survival Sence" just mentions "Seeing Mushrooms, Feathers and Herbs in Inspector Mode" though. Yes the adding of Stones and Sticks is new. They ddin't light up before is it is probably a oversight in description.
1st the difference between rocks/sticks & passive wild life is very hard to find the wild life. There needs to be better difference in the colors. Small wildlife in berry bushes don't show at all on the inspector display.
