We are the Nowthen Historical Power Association (NHPA) and evolved from the Anoka Engine Club and the Rogers Pioneer Power Association. One group restored a 22" International Harvester Threshing machine and used it to put on the original Rogers Threshing Show. The other group collected and restored old tractors and stationary gas engines.

At the west end of Main Street on the Nowthen Threshing Show Grounds proudly stands a 1920s cottage style gas station. This station was saved from a bulldozer in a joint effort by NHPA and the city of Milaca, and restored here in time for the August 2005 Threshing Show.
