Does anyone have any sources that state how much your average xenomorph weighs exactly? I was guessing probably somewhere in the 300-500 pound range personally. They’re crawling around in ceilings and air ducts and clinging to walls (quietly), structures that likely aren’t able to support a quarter of a ton.

The second film introduces the queen, and the colonial marines, and a terraforming colony, and all kinds of tropes that have been endlessly recycled in Alien media ever since. The third movie took the characters we were left with from Aliens, killed them offscreen, and then rehashed the first movie in a new setting.

I am pretty sure thats a common misconception. There are two century gun scenes, one in the hall with the pressure door (where all the ammo runs out) and the one with the barricade (where they stop just before it runs out) . From what i remember, one of these scenes is in the theatrical version, while the other one is only in the directors cut.

In Alien Covenant, we see that David did create the Xenomorphs by experimenting on Shaw's dead body and the black goo. But in the original Alien, we see that the Derelict, the Engineer and the eggs inside, they seem to predate the timeline of Prometheus.
